Translation: The owner obviously thinks he’s driving some pretty hot stuff, but should he really be flaunting it to the irritable person stuck behind him in traffic who is likely getting more and more frustrated at being caught in a seemingly endless peak hour jam with a painfully empty stomach after a tiring day at work (for example)?

Actually I just brought over a few plates to ration out whilst I’m shacked up here in this land of decidedly non-shameful plates. As far as I can tell, I don’t think the notion of personalised plates even exists here in Japan (conform! conform! conform!).
