I just ate at the one in Shinjuku. I’ve been eating there for 20 years. It’s still good – I come mainly for the potatoes. And I always ask for a cheese pizza and they are very willing to cook one. The cheese pizza at Shakeys is great. They can keep the weird stuff. As busy as these places are I don’t know why they don’t have more of them. 8 is not enough for greater Tokyo.

Great post, I am craving pizza in tokyo lately and was weighing up whether to take the shakeys plunge. I’m still not sure, of course, but you’ve sacrificed yourself in the name of science that others might understand shakey’s. Thanks and cheers!

¥850! You can get “Power Full” every alternate day so by the time you get back there will be twice as much Shu to go around.
